An unexpected adventure

Yesterday I went shopping in Buffalo with my friend Linda. She drove. It was a warm sixty two degree day full of sunshine and we fully expected to have a fun time. We first ate lunch at the Longhorn Steak house. Their shaved prime rib sandwiches are delicious. Then a stop at Dick's sporting goods store where I bought my husband a new fishing raincoat and some warm socks.

In home Goods we just had a good time looking around and then went to Hobby Lobby for some more blue webbed ribbon for outdoors bows. We came out of hobby Lobby intending to drive across the parking lot to the mall for some more shopping.

There is when the fun ended. The car started and then the motor shook and gurgled and stopped. We tried several times but it wouldn't go. Linda has a cousin in buffalo so we called her and she offered to call AAA for us but instead we decided to call our local towing service in Brdaford to haul it to the regulat mechanic. While we were waiting the hour and a half it takes to get to Buffalo we went into the mall for a while and I was able to get a few Christmas presents. Then we rode home in a tow truck

The best thing was that nobody paniced. No one got mad. Or upset. This is one of life's inconviences. My husband has a saying...it could always have been worse. What if we were in the middle of the highway? What if we wouldn't have been near the mall. It could have been worse.

  2. Linda's car was hauled right to her local garage. I'm sure she'll have it back soon.
