One photo, many ways

This morning I was playing around with my artistic apps to interpret the apple in many ways.

  1. It's fun to play....

But I still like the original... Which brought such a strong memory, to me. :-)

  2. Hi Peggy! I've been sitting here on a lovely Sunday morning drinking coffee and making sure that I haven't missed any of your recent posts. As I'm leaving for Nova Scotia on Tuesday, I'll probably get behind again.

    Some thoughts:

It's so hard to lose a special friend like Yrsa. My heart goes out to you. The two best friends I've had in my life are both gone, and I think of them every day. It's good to shed some tears in their memory.

We love our pets so much, don't we? I do hope you can nail down what is happening with sweet Sadie. Meanwhile she has such loving support from you!

I loved seeing your extended family enjoying life at the lake. There is nothing more important than making memories together. My family loves to play games, do anything together! I can't wait to get to NS!

I'm loving your blues breezeway, especially that blue wicker chair!

I'm trying to pare down our belongings too, and it is hard. I do it in small pieces. Maybe you could bring one box down from the acetic or up from the basement and focus on just that. You'd be surprised at how much can go with small piles over time. I've found that taking a photo of something I'm parting with helps me let go.

I know that you are proud of all you accomplished in your career, and rightly so; but it's my observation that you accomplished something even more important. You have created an amazing and loving family and have nurtured them for decades. Your home is a place of grace and beauty that is a reflection of your grace and beauty in their lives.

Paint! Do it! When you play with your photo apps I see creativity, but also a yearning!

You keep reminding me by example that it's important to relax and just be, and I do find that hard! Thanks for the reminders.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Hugs!

  4. I can't find any watercolor apps on PicMonkey. I love the effects you get here with these, from watercolor to rich oil paintings. Very nice.

  5. I've gone crazy downloading art apps on my iPad. They make it so easy to do so many artistic things. Just push a button. Love it!
