We are very lucky to have wonderful family. Jim is Don's step brother. He and his wife Sandy came to dinner tonight. It gave Don a good excuse to make his famous strawberry pie. I think it was the best one he ever made. I also sautéed some zucchini in garlic and rosemary that I spiralized. It makes a great accompaniment to the burgers
Sandy spent a lot of time looking through my books that I made from my blog. I used the program Bookemon which is easy. I also showed her the scrapbook that I made from my dad's memoirs.

I love these pictures of family life - in all their honesty and wholesomeness. Sometimes it's easy to forget that the best times in life are just like these, enjoying a home-cooked meal with family. Wish I could see your photo books in person!
