Something new

Things break. It’s a fact of life. And if you have an appliance long enough, sooner or later it’s going to run out of steam. Our old refrigerator has been on the blink for about 6 months. Don has taken it apart several times to clean out the drain from the freezer and now it has finally decided not to work correctly. After a trip to a few stores (we do not have a great selection of stores (2) to pick from in our area that deliver, we decided to go with a Sears refrigerator. Yesterday it was delivered (they were supposed to come between 3 and 5 and got here at 5"35). It took a while to put all the shelves on and get it ready, but I swear it’s bigger than the old one. I know that’s impossible because we are limited in space and it’s exactly the same size. But it looks bigger inside (maybe an optical illusion?). Anyway Don had taken all the food from the old refrigerator and put it in laundry baskets and set it outside in the snow. (You can’t do that just anywhere). So it took a while to get all the food from the fridge and freezer back. We still haven’t pushed it back into the tight hole. For some reason..(Even though it’s the exact same size) it doesn’t want to squeeze into the hole. We’ll tackle that today.
