Signs of Spring

I’ve been looking for signs that spring is really here. The faithful robins returned to the north despite having to pull their worms from frozen ground. The optimistic robins hopped through the snow knowing that soon the weather would have to change. And the daffodils pushed up their slender leaves, yearning for the sun.
 

But the one thing I had been searching for finally arrived..a spring flower. The crocus popped up with its bright purple bloom.

Spring must surely be here now giving us hope that more color, buds, and finally leaves would be arriving soon.  

Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter. Little darling, it seems like years since its been clear. Here comes the sun.
