Gravel is very photogenic. :) It may also be you are drawn to the outdoors...
Very French looking.... That's a nice thing about it! :-) They do tend to do-things-in-a-pleasing-to-the-eye way.Also no grass and weeds, to be cut and trimmed! Now that is nice, any time.No matter why you are drawn to the look... You are..... Simple as that. :-)Tessa~
I bet that you would love the historical gardens in Annapolis Royal ~ can't remember how much gravel there was, but the gardens are gorgeous. They have come a long way since they first opened the gardens years ago.
