I miss the sunshine. The last few days have been rainy and dreary and I’ve been inside. It’s a far cry from last week when I spent the days walking around in the sunshine of Raleigh.
Today I took my camera with me when I left for coffee in the morning. I stopped at the Willow Dale Cemetery right near my house and took a few pictures of the ducks in the rain. I’ve been neglecting my photography lately since I got the ipad at Christmastime. I love taking pictures but sometimes there just isn’t anything new to shoot. How many pictures can I shoot of my house, outside, and my town? I think I’m in a photographer’s slump. My little town doesn’t offer any of those wonderful shots that I see on other’s blogs. I know a good photographer can find neat things to shoot and believe me I have tried. But there are limitations to living in this area and the lack of interesting objects to shoot is one of them. Soon maybe I can start to shoot pictures of flowers. My daffodils and tulips are really sprouting up.
