Spring/summer

While most people are usually headed toward summer for Memorial Day we are just getting leaves and flowers. The leaves are still not full on the trees yet. We can't plant annuals until the danger of frost is over but it looks like the next week will be summer weather. Not today though. It just reached sixty with cold winds. I did get most of my summer flowers today. Come on summer

    in our neck of the woods, the saying was, don't plant until Memorial Day.

    But of course, Memorial Day used to be the last weekend in May.

    Hmmmmmmmmmm....

    So, guess we still have to wait till next weekend, even though the Memorial Day Celebration, is now.
