This may be a record

It's a beautiful warm day and I couldn't resist working outside in the flower beds. I'm no gardener but I love flowers and it felt good to get some of the old leaves and weeds taken away. I put on my hat...can't let that skin cancer come back...and dug in. I'll finish the rest of the front bed tomorrow.
My father was An outstanding gardener. When he retired from pharmacy and moved to Georgia he. Had acres of gardens...a huge strawberry patch, a vegetable garden, and every kind of tree you can imagine. He grew asparagus, watermelons even loofahs. When we would visit he would walk us around the property calling it the nickel tour. It would always be a treat when they came to bradford with a trunk full of all kinds of jams, jellies and canned goods all from their garden.
My son Ryan is just like his grandfather. He already has his garden planted in Tennessee and was proud to take his ipad down to the garden and show us...isn't FaceTime wonderful?
