Golden friendship

What a pleasant surprise!  One of my childhood friends that I have kept in touch with over the years came to spend the night with me last night. We talked and talked and had such a good time. We went to the Willows for a delicious dinner. I had their special chicken breast which is smothered with peppers, caramelized onions, and Gorgonzola cheese. Then w e went down to our local Italian festival for a little while. We told a lot of dog stories and Peachie was educated in Sadie's ways. It was a lot of laughter and I really enjoyed the company.
