Have you been on a picnic this summer?

We have a state park within fifteen minutes of our house. When I was young our car was packed and some evenings we drove to the nearby lake and cooked out our hot dogs. We played in the small creek and caught tadpoles in a paper cup. The time was carefree. 
   I haven't been on a picnic all summer. Is it too late?

    These picnics are wonderful, would love to be at them. But a simple picnic is great too. Everything tastes better at a picnic!
