I have had woods ferns for at least 30 years and for the first time many did not come up this year. I can't imagine why? I can't believe they were killed with frost. They are certainly hardy to the area. I am glad yours are thriving.
i'm so glad to be back! we have no ferns. it's in the 90's here. hot and dry again. they don't survive. and now dear bean... i'm OFF! off to catch up on all the posts I've missed while on my sabbatical. it will be like opening lots of delightful little christmas presents! thank you! XOXO
Yes, ferns do GROW!!!!!!!!!! too much, by the front of our house, in fact. :-)
