The backyard keeps changing as different perennials begin to bloom. As the peonies hang their heads and drop their petals the clematis surrounds the arch with a profusion of purple flowers.
but then, the spent flowers, those little yellow/green whispy things.... are so pretty in their own right. sometimes i think i like the spent flowers, better than the in-full-bloom ones. ,-)))))
