It was one of those mornings. The sun was low in the sky, just starting its daily journey. I looked out the back window and the light against the leaves was extraordinary. No wonder they call it the Golden Hour for photography.
I quickly grabbed my camera and went outside to snap a few pictures before the light changed.
The birch is just starting to change and lose its leaves. And Tatiana gazed upon the scenery.
In the flower garden only a few lily pods remained.
And the pond looked so quiet. Such a change from its summer roar.
The shadows were dancing as the remaining clematis leaves waved.
Out front the bird feeder stood waiting to be filled with seed for the winter birds.
And the last of the weeping cherry leaves were clinging onto the branches.
Again the seasons changing. Again the preparation for the winter’s rest.

Lovely photos, Peggy! Light in photography is EVERYTHING! Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteHow wise to drop everything and grab your camera. 5 minutes can make all the difference in the world. I love your contemplative Tatiana, Peggy.
ReplyDeleteThe golden leaves... Even after the more beautiful red ones have fallen, the golden ones remaining, seem to glow from within. Even on a gray/rainy day... :-)
