A few little fellers at the feeder

It’s always fun to watch the birds outside our kitchen window as they peck on the suet cakes. There are three varieties of woodpeckers and other small assorted birds who visit.

Just to give you an idea of our snow here are a few pictures of the piles at our local mall area. IMG_3303IMG_3302 At home it is still snowing today and it just keeps getting deeper. IMG_3305IMG_3307IMG_3309

It’s another day of staying in (except for coffee in the morning with my friends of course).  Today I made French Onion soup for supper.

  1. Hi Peggy! That's a whole lot of snow! Love the birds around your feeder! When we were little, we always made suet cakes and put them out on the trees as a Christmas gift for the birds. Stay safe and warm!

  2. Hmmmmmm?? Is that my woodpecker there? Must be visiting both of us ;). As for the DEEP FREEZE we are in, as long as the sun visits us, that beautiful, warm sunshine....that's all that matters to me when Mother Nature decides to go off on the deep end!!
