We are lucky to have Don's side of the family right near us. His stepmother will be 93 in August. Also his brother Jim and his wife Sandy have moved here from Georgia so we get to enjoy their company quite often. Last night they came for dinner. It was an extremely hot day...it reached ninety. Since we only have a window air conditioner in the sun room we gathered there. After dinner we played our favorite card game...Five Crowns. A summer storm came up and cooled us all down. It was nice to turn off the air and open the windows. We are lucky here because we don't have many bugs. We can enjoy sitting out without having to worry about mosquitoes.

i am playing catch up here on your blog. i've been having mouse troubles of late. not the real furry kind!
ReplyDeletebut the 'can't get the arrow to go anywhere kind' ... even with a new battery. thank goodness it's an inexpensive fix.
not going out til tomorrow though. triple digit heat here. and today for some reason the mouse is working again! YAY!!
