The Great Frog Rescue

The other day we had an adventure at my house. It was on Sunday when we returned from Buffalo. It had finally stopped raining when Jenny went down to the basement to see if there was any water there. She looked out the basement window well and saw that some frogs were trapped inside the well with no hope of jumping out.
Worried about them, she got Don’s scoop that he uses to get leaves from the pond and began a rescue effort.

Instead of just one or two there were many frogs down there of all sizes. 

Soon the kids were helping…petting the frogs.
Soon large and tiny toads were all saved!
