What could this be?

Last August my landscaper gave me this plant promising me that it would have lovely yellow flowers. He was definitely right. Does anyone know the name of it?  A quiet hot day here in Bradford, in the high eighties. Nice day to do nothing.

    You had a wonderful landscaper that knew his stuff :)

    As for the identity of this plant, dunno, but looking at the leaves, seems to be a Impatient plant.
