Where I live

breezeway 5.11 015My photo challenge was where I live. I know I was to take a new picture today..that’s the purpose of the challenge. But it’s only ten degrees out there and I didn’t want to go out to get a picture of my house.  So I dug this out from the archives.  My breezeway is where I live all summer. It’s my favorite place to sit and swing and read and just relax. Do you have a favorite spot where you live?outdoors 6.12 001

  1. Yes, I do! Our three-season back porch is a favorite hang out for my granddaughter and me. We're waiting impatiently for the weather to warm up enough to go out there again. Last time this year, we were out there frequently. {{ sigh }}

  2. -chuckle- I don't blame you, for not wanting to go out in the cold, to snap pics!!! So this, from your archives, is perfect.

    What a lovely spot this must be..... And how prettily you have it decorated. Guess what I'd love to see? A larger picture of this. And discussion of how you have decorated it. You have the privacy "curtains" up, on hangers, yes? What a ingenious idea. And that swing. Oh my, who wouldn't love, love, love a swing? And those must be overhead lantern lights, which turn on at night.

    Sadly, we don't have a spot, which would be free enough of flying insects, for me to enjoy. It seems that when I go out the door, every flying bug and mosquito comes for me. They love me. Much more than they love my husband. So I feel like, when I try to sit out on front or back patios, I'll be *attacked* at any moment. -sighhhhh-

    1. We are so lucky here. We have no bugs in the summer. You can sit out all evening.

  3. LOLOL. well. oddly enough even in the space of 525 square feet you have favorite 'spots.' and i do mean the size of a spot! :D
    mine are my two reading chairs. one by my desk here in winter because it's cozier.
    and the other chair over by the big window... which is altogether lovely in the spring and fall and early summer with the breezes blowing in!
    love the little fellow in your header by the way! ♥
