We are beginning to feel the effects of this drought that we are having here in western Pa and NY. It hasn’t rained in a while and everything is so dry. We keep our flowers watered but the crab apple tree out front seems to be suffering a little. Tomorrow I’ll give it a good watering.
- We had a lovely time today celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of a friend who renewed her vows. They are such a sweet couple and it was nice to join in their festivities. I got to see people from my teaching days that I had not seen in years.
It's been dry here too, Peggy, although we're supposed to get some rain throughout this week. I'm sure that crab apple tree will appreciate a long, cool drink. How lovely to share your friend's special event! Take care!
