Who cannot love a peony?

And the wind upon its way whispered the boughs of May, And touched the nodding peony flowers to bid them waken.

This is the first flower on the bank to bloom. I had all new landscaping on the bank last fall and I will be excited to see it all bloom.

One lovely pink tulip is hiding among the grape hyacinths.

  1. Your blossoms are lovely, Peggy! But I find your first photo really interesting. It's something about the strong lines and how the subtle colors of the sprouting peony are also in the bricks. Really cool! Sending you a big hug and a wish that you have a great day tomorrow!

    1. Thanks, Louise. Sometimes I remember to get out my big camera and use it. And I am always rewarded with better pictures.

  2. Your flowers are beautiful! My peonies have buds on them right now. I can't wait until they bloom, they smell so good and are pretty too. :) Enjoy your spring weather!

    1. I love peonies also. They are so big and beautiful and fragrant. It's fun to gather them for a house bouquet.
