Kay

It is a sad day for me today. Last night my best friend Kay passed away. We were in the same homeroom in high school and became good friends. She was the maid of honor at my wedding. We have shared so much over the years and we talked on the phone every day. She will be so missed. Along with my other best friend Yrsa who passed away almost two years ago we three did everything together…celebrating our birthdays, luncheons, shopping, trips. I am feeling lost.

i'm sorry about your loss of kay. she was so courageous in her fight.
you will always have all those wonderful memories of her in your life.
though i know that right now it's no consolation at all. it's the worst kind of hard.

    1. I like to think that Yrsa was there to welcome her on the other side and they are having a ball shopping together (or whatever else angels do).

  3. So sorry about Kay's death. I did not know her well but when I was in her company she was always smiling and pleasant.

    1. Thank you Becky. I have many of Kay's stories to make me smile when I remember her. Death is something we just have to accept at this age.
