What a cute couple...Wendy and Chris. Don and I met them at the Beef and Barrel for dinner. It was a great way to get acquainted. Wendy is such a nice girl. It gave her a chance to get to know us a little. Since she has known Chris only a week she got a chance to learn a little more about him..and us. We really liked her. She was delightful. Here they are sharing a Toll House sundae.

ReplyDeleteI don't discount that kind of thing now! I literally knew within minutes of meeting my Bob.
I said to Mother after he left the office where she worked (thinking I would never see him again) "that's Him Mother."
she said "yes. I think you're right." and we had just talked with him so briefly! and even then he only talked about seeing her boss... the owner of the company... plus other nice small talk with us while he was waiting a bit.
but I was to be surprised. Mr and Mrs Berry contacted Bob and arranged for him to come to their house that evening!
and they told my mother to bring me. and I didn't want to go. having no idea he would be there I basically just didn't want to go!
but Mother insisted because she knew the truth behind the invitation! so I went. and after awhile Bob walked in!
and wow. for me it was love at first sight. I had no doubts. and we dated only each other from then on until we got married!

I'm glad you liked Wendy. that means a lot always! and that you got to meet her so soon? always a nice sign. :D
Lordy. hope she and Chris don't read this!!! maybe you'd better delete it. LOLOL! seriously! I sound like the proverbial matchmaker!
