It was a quiet weekend. I find that I am busy during the week but on weekends I tend to stay home and relax. Don and I watched some of the Olympics but I missed all my regular Thursday night programs. The weather has been strange, first no snow, then snow on the ground and today it is spotty again with patches of grass. Winter can’t decide what it wants to do. Today is Giggle Girls and how I look forward to the joy.
it rained here a little while ago. did you hear me rejoicing! it had been over three months since we've had any precip of any kind. we have a chance for some more I think in the next day or so.
ReplyDeleteyou would think a minimalist wouldn't have anything to declutter. but I did yesterday and it's in the trunk of my car
awaiting tomorrow. having a bout of vertigo so driving is not a good idea right now.
but I LOVE getting clear of some things. it feels so good! maybe I'm addicted to decluttering? :) OCD ride on! LOL.
I watched 2018 American Rescue Dog Show on the Hallmark channel last night. it was inspiring and funny and just wonderful. every dog had been rescued ... mixed mutts to pure breeds. they were so beautiful.
I thought of little Sadie in the Special Needs category. so many little and big ones enjoying life on their own terms! amputees and blind and deaf (the deaf Dalmation that could understand sign language! 51 different words!)
and I'm so happy you have time with your 'giggle girls' today. a spirit lifter for sure! xo
I hope that you had a wonderful time with your Giggle Girls, Peggy! I have a friend flying into Honolulu tomorrow from the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Can't wait to see her. I met her her at the Royal Grove Hotel and we cross paths each March. It's going to be lots of fun to see her ~ lots of hula lessons. I'm a terrible dancer, but who cares? I enjoy learning about Hawaiian culture. The weather is strange everywhere seems!
