We have air! Yesterday the guys worked to get our air conditioning up and running. It was a hard job and the owner’s son worked all afternoon after his father left. Finally at five he got it running. They will be back on Monday to hook up the returns. It works great. But now the temperature has gone down into the seventies so we don’t need it. But there will be plenty of hot days ahead I’m sure.
the temp was 109 here a few days ago. that's not counting the heat index because the humidity's been high too.
ReplyDeleteI just didn't have the heart to remember it! there seems to be no end in sight. I worried about you and Don because to have to endure this kind of heat without A/C is something I can't even imagine! and now I won't worry! Congratulations! and what a remarkable young man to work alone until it's done! Kudos to him! (and there I said some naughty words about him before.)
see how I am? I'm just a spoiled old lady!
almost put LOL. only it's not funny. seriously. I need to work on that. I don't want to be mean in my old age!
oh my. SO much to work on! hug Sadie bug for me cool lady! XOXO
There were two different sets of guys working. The owner and his son are the hard workers that came on Saturday. He apologized for his hired guys that were up in the attic for two weeks putting in the ducts. The owner of the company was so polite and easy to work with. So willing to please. I would write a letter of recommendation for Rich Sherman.
DeleteI don’t know how you can stand that heat Tammy. I have a friend who lives in Texas. It has to be brutal!
Deleteit is brutal! this will be the first year in FOUR that I haven't wound up in the hospital through the ER because of it!
ReplyDeleteI vowed I wouldn't set a foot outside if it would keep me from the hospital!
and the reason I stay of course is the marine. his home is paid for. and like he said... he'd be foolish to sell and have a payment again!
as long as I can live in Bradford (Falls) lol vicariously... I'll be fine. LOLOL! XOXO
