Just yesterday there was no snow on the ground and today we have a foot. It’s so pretty. Especially if you can stay inside. Don went out and said the road by our house was full of ice. Yesterday's rain had turned to a glare of ice.
We have been watching all the playoff games. Our two teams. Buffalo Bills and the Steelers lost their games. I also was reading and finished a good book. Switched by Joseph Finder. Don and I also made bubble buns. He remembered how good they tasted and we haven’t made them for a long time. I had some frozen roll dough and when we let them rise....they didn’t. So I made some homemade sweet dough. Not only did we make the bubble buns but a pan of cinnamon on rolls too. It was a good day to have the oven on.
The snow is lovely, Peggy, and it sounds like you had a pleasant day indoors. Terry had cataract surgery at 9:30 this morning, and we woke to an ice fog and flurries. It was a tensile drive to the surgical center. Fortunately by the time he was discharged, the ice had largely melted. No hit of sunshine to make everything pretty like your area. It's a cold one here tonight ~ Going down to 4º F. Hope you are warm and toasty in Brandford ~ Condolences for your teams' losses.
